Shayla V. Gibson is the principal and head of Epitome Consulting Group, LLC. A 10 year seasoned public relations specialist, she has served in a number of capacities across various organizations. Shayla spent time leading the communication efforts for the Health & Life Sciences and Transportation and Financial Solutions business areas at Lockheed Martin. Prior she served several years as the media relations manager, directly overseeing three senior account executives who managed multiple transportation clients including the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. Shayla possesses discrete and broader-based project management experience, leadership and communication consulting skills with an expertise in public speaking, advertising and media relations. In 2015, Shayla joined Bloomberg LP as the director of communications for Bloomberg Government in the Washington, DC office, providing oversight for executive, external and internal communications. Recently, her communication expertise has led her down a more entrepreneurial path, serving as the brand manager for start-up companies and upcoming thought leaders.
